Gary Ku

Assistant Project Manager

Mr. Ku is in his 5th year as a valuable designer and assistant project manager. Originally an AutoCAD specialist, upon completing his undergraduate degree he worked on projects throughout Singapore, China, and Dubai before returning to DKP. Mr. Ku brings to DKP his experience as an assistant PM and is familiar with DKP’s drawing style and design philosophy. He is trained in a wide range of drafting, modeling, and illustration programs and thus is able to provide our clients with a unique product. Mr. Ku has been involved with the following projects:

SAUSD—Carr School Site re-planning and Parking expansion
PYLUSD—Modernization projects
PYLUSD—Elementary school media center
NLMUSD—multiple Relocatable Classroom placements, 9 campuses

El Sol Academy—Charter school design development
Otsuka—design development warehouse and middle school
Parking garage—major car dealership

Educational Background

Mr. Ku majored in Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with honors. While at Berkeley Mr. Ku received the Eisner Prize in Architecture and the Library Prize for Undergraduate Research; he also attended the Denmark International Study Program’s summer program in Architectural Design and Scandinavian Architectural Studies.
