Claudia McBain
Assistant Project Manager
Mrs. McBain joined the Donald Krotee Partnership after working in Chicago in the late 1980’s. Her experience in Chicago was focused on the tenant improvement commercial interior design. Since Mrs. McBain has been with DKP she has served as the assistant project manager in charge of construction drawing documents on several commercial and educational- public bid projects. She has assisted the firm, or the firms designated project manager, on the SAUSD and PYLUSD miscellaneous projects. She has an 8 year specialty in AutoCAD, since the software has gained prominence, and currently coordinates the automated CAD processes for DKP. Most recently Mrs. McBain has provided tenant improvement, miscellaneous compliance design and an array of general real estate development and design projects. Educational Background
In 1990, Mrs. McBain received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Chicago's Harrington Institute of Design, from which she graduated with special honors. Prior to attending Harrington, Mrs. McBain completed three years of undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton. Mrs. McBain's work was later honored in the annual "AIA Chicago Awards in Interior Architecture," which included the display of her work at the Chicago Merchandise Mart and the publishing of her work in the AIA periodical.
Mrs. McBain is currently a member of the A.S.I.D and the I.B.D.
