Masonic Temple
The project required that a feasibility analysis be completed to determine the costs and the feasibility of housing various assembly and exhibit spaces. The project is an excellent example of a large community facility analysis and retrofit. Community meetings were undertaken as part of the package for the developer. Alternate uses which were considered feasible while maintaining the historic fabric included a theater space for the local private School of the Arts, a dance club, retail spaces, corporate offices with clean computer-dedicated circuitry, a foreign film theater, and billiard-assembly spaces including community, wedding, and dining/dancing areas.
