Bolero Peak Communications Center

Orange County retained DKP to develop a prototype communication building. The structure is located in a remote area and is a single story communications Type III block building. The design featured a new HVAC system with redundant back-up, uninterrupted power supply, and unique grounding for intricate communications work. A large battery room was also part of the facility. Air conditioning had to be carefully designed to hold various rooms to the correct operating temperatures.
